Old Books For Little Hands

These are some of my books I grew up with and a few I have acquired since, I have always enjoyed collecting young children's books, they have an uncomplicated innocence about them, these ones are quite old! but I also collect newer books, I also have a much loved Christmas collection. A few years ago I managed to track down a very special book for Fin, he had been given a copy of Little Toot (a tug boat) as a school prize, when I gave it to him, he was so surprised, he shed a tear, love him. Books are so special.
.......> A couple of newer books the illustrations are beautiful!

  2. They are just gorgeous. I bought myself a ladybird cookbook today which I'll show on my blog soon. I'll have to do some of the recipes, they are so easy to follow (being for children) with wonderful illustrations. Suzy x

  3. Thea: These little old books are so quaint and sweet. I love them. I have one or two but my prize is a set of Pollyanna books that I received as gifts on my birthday starting when I was 9. The are priceless to me, but do not have any cute illustrations.. Happy Monday..Judy

  6. I love these books too. I have the Far Away Tree trilogy and the Magic Wishing Chair. I keep trying to get Little Son interested but he can't get into them the way I did. Do you remember Blackberry Farm books - they were my favourite? Lily. xxx
